Everyone's experience is different. How we heal our trauma will be unique as well. Recognizing mistakes, understanding motives, willingness to make change and commit to those goals really vary. An abusive episode is one thing, a bad thing. But chronic abusive behavior without accountability and ability to change the mindset is and abuser. With of course gray area in between.
