Great information. Friends of ours got into raising chickens. The loved the fresh eggs and said the chickens were great fun. It was the cats they spoke of...always hunting the chickens, waiting for any misstep...and the rooster! Holy wow, the roosters really complicated things for the family. More work than they had anticipated.

But the eggs...they love the eggs.
