The death of my partner set my life on a new course. I am now a person who specializes in grief, trauma and how to press forward in the face of adversity.
The grief experience was painful and traumatic to say the least. It was also tremendously transformative. Grief knocked me down. Then it forced me to look at life a new way. Grief didn't go away, it made me stop and reevaluate life and was a great teacher. A teacher I never wanted to meet, but nevertheless, grief educated me in ways that nothing else could.
Now my grief and I walk hand in hand on life's journey.
